The Boston Celtics have led by ten points or more in their last four postseason games. Tatum is one of the best players on the Boston Celtics’ roster alongside Jaylen Brown. However, the two star players weren’t enough in Game 2 against the Cavs as they were on the losing side this time around. Donovan Mitchell and Co overcame the Celtics in Game 2.

Tatum was visibly seemed disappointed by the loss and claimed they aren’t a super team as the media and the fans portray them to be.

We didn't have MVP, we only had two All-Stars... So you say we're a super team, but we didn't get awarded like we are. Jayson Tatum said in the post game presser

However, Tatum was confident that his side would provide a fitting comeback in the upcoming matchups against the Cavaliers.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were outperformed by Cavs’ Donovan Mitchell

After the Boston Celtics secured the Game 1 win against the Cavaliers, all eyes were on their star players Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown in Game 2. However, it was Donovan Mitchell who made all the headlines after outperforming the likes of Tatum and Brown in their backyard.

Mitchell was on fire all night long. He finished with 29 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds. Not only that, the NBA community was in shock at his masterful performance in Game 2 as they did not see this coming from Mitchell. He was well supported by the center Evan Mobley, who produced 21 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists.

The upcoming Game 3 between the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers is scheduled for Saturday at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. With the Cavs stepping up at the right time, it will be intriguing to see who comes out on top in this NBA playoff series.
